How to Join~

Canon Joining:

(I'm now adding an OC form from this point on.)

1.: Choose a character from the remaining character list(above the member list).

2.: Send this account a note(please have a subject such as "Application (for): Furude Rika", it makes categorizing the notes much easier), and fill out the following form:

a) Which character would you like?:
b) Why do you want to role play as this character?:
c) Convince me that you can play this character. Describe this character's personality in your own words(and I'll know if you copied off somewhere, I'll find out):
d) Show me your role playing abilities, please. Type a short monologue(no longer than a paragraph) about a subject of your choice.
e) How many times per week would you be able to check your messages? BE HONEST.:
f) Do you agree with the rules?:
g) Do you have any ideas concerning the character you wish to role play as?:

3. DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT BEFORE RECEIVING AN ACCEPTANCE NOTE.
In the note, you will get an icon for you account. Therefore, it may take a while before you receive the note; please don't resend your application unless a week has passed.

4. After you have been accepted and created an account, PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO SUBMIT AN INTRODUCTION JOURNAL! I have been lenient thus far but now I'm cracking down on this! Please refer to the rules for more information. You may choose to stay anonymous, or to state your real account in your journal. Please notify me, either via note or by commenting on the page, that your account exists, otherwise you cannot be added to the members list.

Rules

(Once again, some rules will be specified specifically for OCs. You'll know which rules these are)

1.) The simplest of all rules. Be nice to fellow role players. If someone is bothering you, don't confront that person about it, tell an admin.

2.) No godmoding or powerplaying. Another basic rule. If you don't know what those are, ask.

3.) KEEP YOUR ACTIVITY UNHIDDEN. If I or another admin find that your activity is hidden, we will notify you and from there you will have one week to unhide it or you'll be removed from the member list, unless stated otherwise.

4.) THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! If you are unactive for more than two weeks, than you will be removed from the member list. We're not kidding. We'll also give you a one week warning, however, stating that you have another week to get on that account again, or you'll be removed.

5.) FOR OCs. Just a fair warning, we want characters with actual personality applying for OCs. If your character is perfect, of course we're not going to let you in. ...Then again, who would make a perfect character for the When they Cry series?

6.) When you join, be sure to watch all the accounts INCLUDING this account.

7.) If you go on a hiatus, PLEASE SEND THE MAIN RP ACCOUNT A NOTE. We need to know who is gone, and we don't like kicking people. Inactivity and hiatus are two different things. Right now we aren't gonna be as strict since it's a new rule, but it will be in the future. It would also be nice if you said something in your journal, but that's up to you. We prefer notes. Then we're gonna add you to a list. And when you're back, let us know.

8.) For Double RP-ers Only If you want to switch your main, you can. BUT NO EPIC BACK AND FORTH SWITCHING. You can only switch 2 times. That's it. Be wise, young rp-ers. :U

9.) If you're double role playing, you're going to have to send an application for the character now. We don't want you to not be able to RP as them, if that makes sense. And if you already were a double, we're sorry but we're gonna have to have you send an app and we'll add you to the list again. And its gonna be really harsh being a double. If we say no, sorry. Don't hate us, derp.

10.) If you're applying, DON'T ASK FOR HELP. It's you and you only. And if you are sneaky and ask for a little bit of help, AT LEAST DO IT WHEN THE ADMINS AREN'T AROUND. Be smart guys, seriously.

11.) Alright. As it seems we can't stress being in-character enough, it's time for a new rule to stress it again. We understand that sometimes we have OOC RPs, and aren't RPing all the time. Yet, when we are being in character, please, be in character. If anyone sees any problems, we'll give you a warning, before any other action is taken. This, of course, applies to double RP-ers, as well.

2.) Please use some form of OOC when people are role playing. Rather obvious.

3.) PLZ DONT TAWK LYK DIS. ITS ANNYING, SI? >:I

4.) You are allowed to use icons like . But when people take up a whole page by just doing that back and forth, it gets annoying. If an admin allows you to go ahead and do it, you may. Other wise, please keep the icon usage down.

5.) While it's sort of obvious, apparently it needs to be a rule, anyway. If you post a mature picture (nudity, gore, etc etc.) warn so in bold after the link. We've gotten a lot of complains about this. How hard is typing "[link] NSFW", after all?
